The 2024 Summer Olympics for the US team will be something to remember. Their uniforms were created by none other than the legend Ralph Lauren, this being the ninth year the famous designer has created their outfits. One of the pieces the athletes are looking forward to most is a racecar-style jacket. Read on to learn more.

The Closing Ceremony Jacket

Daniela Moroz, an American kiteboarder, gushed over the Ralph Lauren collection, saying they were cool-looking and unique, particularly loving the racing jacket Lauren designed for the closing ceremony.

Jamal Hill, who is a Paralympic swimmer, said that it was his favorite outfit, too, and joked that the jacket had a Formula 1 driver meets cowboy tuxedo type of vibe. Ralph Lauren took a dramatic turn when creating this collection, and made the entire collection with more American style and energy.

Bringing American Style to Paris

David Lauren said that having the opportunity to go to Paris, which is already the center of most fashion shows, to show off the collection can’t be missed. The vibes that are centered around this and the energy can’t be matched. The closing ceremony race-style jacket is already being coveted by everyone who sees it.

The colors are a not-so-subtle nod to the colors of the American flag, which are vivid and eye-catching. But let’s not forget the opening ceremony uniform, which has a more tailored look. It is topped with a single-breasted wool blazer and a striped Oxford dress shirt. This is married with tapered jeans and a buck shoe. All in all, the outfits are crisp clean looks that are bound to be remembered. If you want to see this collection, be sure to look out for it when the Olympics are televised from late July to August 2024.
